Generation 1.0

History of the Blackwell's

 

 

It's 2092 and I'm the last Blackwell. Through earlier generations they grew their fortune and family but three generations ago, Jaybird bet it all at the Lucky Simoleon Casino in Lucky Palms, and lost. I live in the 'ghetto' hills of Oasis Landing alone, as my parents passed five months ago.

 

 

I spend my time in the Wasteland a lot collecting nanites, flowers, and crystal plants to sell to local merchants to pay the bills and groceries. Since no one wants to marry a poor girl from the hills, my family name will die with me..

 

..but I will not allow the mistake of my elders decided my fate.

 

I had heard whispers of a man that could time travel, that he keeps his portal hidden from sight at the Community Center, his name is Emit Relevart. I decided he would be my best bet,to send me back in time save the Blackwell lineage.

 

I looked around the Community Center for the blue haired man in strange wear, I found him in the kitchen reading. As I entered the room he began to stand and walk in my direction. Before I could say a word he spoke.

 

"I see you have heard the whispers that are spoke of me."

 

"Yes I have. Is what they speak of true? I need your help, I can not pay much as I am poor but I do have some savings." I hadn't really thought of what I would say or how I would ask Emit for help. What if he said no? What would I do then..

 

"They speak the truth child but I do not want your money, I want something far greater, and you are in a position to give it to me but I will not divulge that information to you now. You will find out it time. Do you except?" That was it. I had to give him something I did not know of and I would be able to save my family name? I was stuck between a rock and a hard spot.

 

"I need an answer now or the offer will expire."

 

"Yes." I didn't think twice as I would talk myself out of it.

 

With that he gave me a quick makeover as I would not fit in with the people of the past the way I looked now.

 

He activated the portal saying I would be apart of something great and this was only the beginning, that when I arrived a man would be waiting to explain how I will change the Blackwell lineage.

 

"See you on the flip side Giget." Emit gave one last wave before I was sucked into the portal.

 

 

Everything was so bright until I saw something at the end of the light, when suddenly I was thrown out of the portal across the yard. I stood up brushing myself off when I looked out across the land, it was an usual scene but breathtaking none the less.

 

Now where was this man Emit spoke of.
